new years started with the LBC Countdown. as soon as it hit Midnight, we said our things and left to Anarchy which was miraculously closed and so we ended up at the Glen.
im not one to do anything for my birthday because a) its new years. everybody mostly already has things going on b) i HATE planning stuff and depending on people and c) i don't like hosting stuff at my house cause i don't want to clean and i don't want to be responsible for people puking and all that fun stuff (go big or go home right?) so of course the proper thing to do is...GO TO A BAR!!!!

we went on the 3rd seeing as how it was convenient for everyone to be hungover (if they wanted to) on Sunday vs going on a Friday and being hungover on a Saturday.

after it was all said and done and it was time to go home, all i wanted was IHOP!

27 was seriously such a good birthday.
the actual day of, i had dinner with my mom by the beach and then i binged watched parks and rec.
the 2nd, my mom made me some of her delicious chicken soup and tess got me a cake. grama came over and it was a family affair. the 3rd i had my shindig and the 4th i went to six flags with my sister and chonch. (the 5th, i scored lunch from a coworker!)
that's the longest i've ever stretched out my birthday. i love it!!!

aahhh!!! the new year is here!
yesterday was my birthday! (hello 27!)
my mom and sus took me out to eat at the Cheesecake Factory and OMG!!! i have never been SO FULL in my life. my plate was sooo good and i got so full once i left, i passed the carrot cake slice i so badly wanted to taste (ok devour!). oh well, i will be back for you!

2014 was AMAZING!
i will admit leaving 2013, i was scared. i was finally doing things and going out and making memories and i was scared 2014 wouldn't live up to the hype. wanna know what i learned?

2014 thought me SO many things.
about myself, life, love, friends, family, work, EVERYTHING!
i love life. i love 2014 as much as a person can love 365 days.
they weren't always the best but looking back, 2014 was AMAZEBALLS!!!!
i would change not a single thing.
and you know what? im leaving this year behind with butterflies in my stomach!
i wont lie, i am a little bit scared of 2015 but its okay to feel like that. i cant wait to see what you have in store for me 2015. i welcome you with open arms.

this book was SO good that after 30 pages, i HAD to go buy it. i wanted to highlight basically everything! (you can see some of my stickies sticking out.)
i didnt want to risk buying this book because i was not a HUGE fan of the Tina Fey book (gasps everywhere!!!) and i didn't want to experience the same thing with this one.
luckily, i fell in love; Amy did not disappoint.
I LOVE AMY!!!!
she was so honest in this book.
she talks about it all; beginning to now (til it was published anyways) her path to stardom, her kids births, some divorce stuff, how hard it is to write a book, her crazy growing up life. her drug use and her adventures. her ups and downs and everything in between.
i love reading about comedians who talk about the struggle and what it took to get to where they are at.
not that i have read very many but i mean look at the day and age we live in. all you need is a YouTube channel or an instagram or vine account and BOOM! put in the work (or lie about a lot of shit) and you have made it.
there's not much that i can say other than pick this book up!!!!
i loved her before because of her goofiness but this book sold me and im now in love with Leslie Knope!!! haha. i just started Parks and Rec and i am hooked. how does Leslie get away with everything!?

the way she describes having children makes me wish for my own. but all within time. its just a beautiful chapter to me. and i don't have kids! so i can imagine how the mommas feel.
she just talks about it all in this book and i love it! and just like Elise, i loved this book SO MUCH, i just couldn't rush through it. i was reading it while i was in my last few weeks of school and i had to study for my final and i felt bad that i couldn't fully give my all to it but i loved the pace that i read it in.
I'm not one to re-read books even though i have a goldfish memory but this book, i know i will definitely be picking it up again in a few months and giving it another read. and maybe this time ill have the guts to highlight what i wanted to highlight and maybe some more! i loved it so much i couldn't even bring myself to highlight it and thats the main reason i bought it!!!!

EACH!!! whatt!!??? (they charged me $8.50. called the bank and got my $$$ back) the one above cost my sister $1.75. seriously, best cupcake ever. going to go buy more. if there was a way to send one out to you, i would!
