THOUGHTS
this one's guna be a quick one!

Uh, idk where to start. 😅
Picked this one up and went the audio route and I definitely recommend that since it's Flea himself that reads it to you. Definitely something about the author reading you their own words; Emotions are unmatched. (Read Jessica Simpson's book too!)

It was pretty dope to go back and learn about his past, where he grew up and how he and Anthony became friends and formed RHCP (FUCK YEA to scoring tickets to see them 2 times next year!!!!!)
But I think the thing that will forever stick out to me the most is that at the end of the day, we are all looking for love in whichever form we can get it and we'll all just want to belong. I felt that a lot in this book and ahh! thats the major thing that i took away from it.

I'm glad I got this one. ♡

thanks for reading!

In the tradition of Jonathan Tropper and Tom Perrotta comes Matthew Norman's Domestic Violets—a darkly comic family drama about one man’s improbable trials of love, loss, and ambition; of attraction, impotence, and infidelity; and of mid-life malaise, poorly-planned revenge, and the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction.

THOUGHTS
well.
i dont really remember this one. i do remember thinking that i wasnt a fan of it so so much that my ig post was probably the nicest way i could have said i didnt like it without straight up saying it.  But this was the authors first book and he's only gotten better so, hey!

and because its been so long, no spoilers. sorry!
all I remember is the dad wasn't there (?) but now he is and homeboy wants his car cus that signifies big dick energy and he gets it but not like before a lot of shit goes down.

...i'm basically just here to post this one so i can move on.
eek!

thanks for reading!
