First DIY!
Ok geek moment over!

I have seen these letters on several blogs (abeautifulmess.com & homeheartcraft.com)

Hope from HHC stated that she saw them at Anthropologie and they were on sale for like $12 a pop. She actually purcahsed the letters at Michael's I believe and she sprayed them.

The gals, Elsie & Emma(ABM) bought the letters and wrapped them with yarn
Which is what I did, with the exception of buying the letters!

I saw on another blog (I can't remember the site....) where she got regular cardboard and did the letter herself.

Basically I traced out an L and just did two of those.
Once I had them matching sizes (which I later found out it doesn't really matter if you're super accurate) & I taped them down with blue tape.

Once I had secured it with tape I started wrapping it with yarn.

I was supposed to do another diy with the yarn and my cousin had bought that.
The cardboard came from the amazon box that my A Beautiful Mess book came in.
Glue, glue gun & tape I already had So this project was basically free!
The best kind!!!

SUPPLIES:
1. Cardboard box
2. Choice of yarn (altho I have several ideas I want to try so feel free to explore)
3. Scissors
4. Glue & glue gun
5. Ruler (if you want to make reeaally straight lines)

After waiting like a month and a half!.....my book is finally here!

These two gals are seriously talented!

The blog was started by Elsie Larson back in 2007 before she was Mrs. Larson.
Emma came along a few years later after returning home from California.

These gals have had their own clothing line, their own (Elsie) scrapbooking line, two of their own shops,  just recently released their photo app for apple (hurry up android!!!!!) And now have released their first book!
I believe they also have a scrapbooking book/materials due with Becky Higgings coming out at Michael's pretty soon.
Also, i just read they've turned in their manuscript for their second book and you better believe I'm grabbing that one as well! (Coming next summer! )

I'm soooo excited to dig in! (:
And yes I will blog about it once I'm done!

Which is a  cool deal since I've been thinking of buying my very first "proffesional" camera

A few days ago me and my sister threw it down.
You know sibling rivalry....something like that.
So she has no idea what I'm talking about because I told her to leave....
I sometimes wonder  how she graduated.
I mean she's smart. But like.......

Wooohoo!
First HARD event Second Rave.

It was pretty cool.
My first rave was Beyond Wonderland earlier this year and I absolutely loved that one.

We (Jay, Eman, Andy & I) arrived around 5ish and it was pretty interesting from the get go.

Before we got in a) a dude from another group we met up with got kicked out because he tried using a real fake ID (does that make sense!?) to get a wristband for drinking. Dude paid $85 to get a ticket and walk around Chinatown until Midnight & b) some girl was down on the ground passed out, lights out. Before she entered the venue!

Once inside me and Eman made line to use the über nasty portapotties (the ones in Coachella were like using the white house restrooms compared to these.) 
Of course I said "hey you make line here & ill go here just incase."
His line went by ridiculously quick while I took like 6 hrs
Ill tell ya, the amazing things you see while you wait!
I look to my right and some girl is dry heaving her guts out to no avail.

Blah blah blah fast forward 10 minutes, that girl who was at that point being held by 2-3 people, was a few people behind me in another line.
I guess they were going to try and get her in to the bathroom (dumb decision.  It's small, stuffy, SMELLY, and void of all toilet paper in the world!) Any who, within 2 seconds of me realizing she was in line, some dudes like "did she sh*t herself!?"
Low and behold, this girl literally crapped her pants!

Look if you know me, you know when it comes to any sort of drug, A N Y T H I N G, I'm the biggest chicken ever.

To say that she was conscious is an understatement because homegirl was in another planet!

If I wasn't afraid then, I definitely am now.

You know your own limits.
While I don't condone the usage of drugs....I'm not going to preach to you/at you to stop.
Just be careful.
And make sure you have REALLY GOOD friends.
Because cleaning up your poop, thats something not just anyone will do.

But anyways, it was really fun.
I caught Empire of the sun which is who I really wanted to see, then Zedd (pretty dope!) & while Jay wanted to catch Bass Nectar we went with Emans choice and caught Baauer. As Eman describes it, "Ratchet" music.
I'm glad we did because I finally got to dance, I met this totally gay dude whom I fell in love with and it was an awesome set. Plus seeing Obama do the Harlem shake on screen and Lindsay Lohan transform from clean to party machine was pretty cool!
Haha.

I'm glad I went.
It was an awesome time!

I've still yet to write a post on what I actually started this blog for! -.- and Ive already read 2 books worthy of a post!

This sunday!.....I'll be going to HARD Summer for my very first time! (Second rave)
I'm excited!
I've always wanted a flower headband but I didn't know where to grab one or wasn't as motivated to make one!
I really wanted one for Coachella, I slacked off and I ended up paying $10 for something ill never use in my life again.
I was bummed.  That was beer $$$ right there.
Anywho....I didn't take step by step pictures (dumb!) But I took a few.
I bought 2 sets of different purple flowers at Michaels for like $1.19 & my sister bought me my headbands at target for like $2.50.
Boom cheap!

Originally I was going to crazy glue the middle part of the flower back once I was done sewing the flowers buuut then I thought....hmm let me glitter em up!
I ran outa glitter after the first one So I scratched that and used a forever 21 spiked bracelet that I never used and I've since never looked back! (:

This weekend was pretty awesome!
2 different concerts, 3 amazing artist!
7/27: Bruno Mars at Staples Center
7/28: Justin Timberlake & Jay-Z (or Jay Z. I heard he changed it...) at Rose Bowl

Im usually one to take a million pictures but for these two even with zoom on my phone I was kinda far.
Plus Bruno told us not to take pics that we should be in the moment and it should be between us!
& JT/JZ well man they were so awesome  that I didn't wana live the whole concert through a screen.
