these pictures are from when Eric took us to Sedona but took us sightseeing around the area.
these are from Monday & Tuesday so one day (m) it looks all snowy and cloudy and you can barely see things at time and then the next (t) everything was beautifully clear.
talk about getting the best of it all!!!

above is the ONLY McDonald's in the world that has its arch painted in turquoise. talk about being pretty kick ass!
you see all that falling snow? eeeek! in love!
the gray house you see above happens to be the home of Lucille Ball!
how awesome is that. of course its under different ownership (wouldn't a museum have been awesome?) i couldn't get a better angle of it (and you can baaaarely see the beautiful red rocks in the back) but they have a Lucy doll just chillin' in one of the balconies.
kinda cool but kinda creepy if you were just walking by or something,
across the street from Lucy's house there is this BEAUTIFUL resort, Los Abrigados, where they have just about the most gorgeous scenery. I'm so glad Eric took us there.
they have a yard full of games for people to play and what i really loved was the giant chess set they had (set aside was checkers.) the above picture was on Monday and the one below was on Tuesday.
eric & b left me behind to take long lovely leisurely walks. meanwhile i stayed behind to snap away and the result of that are the load of pictures that follow.
sorry, i couldn't pick just one.
i love them all!!!!

up next: sedona

after Jerome, we headed over to Midgley Bridge (Bridgley) in Sedona and insert about 1000 heart eyes emojis.

we thought snow was coming down in Jerome...that was nothing compared to this part of the trip.
it was sooo beautiful i cant even begin to try to describe it.

once we made it up there and parked, we walked down to the small hiking trail they have that leads to an amazing view.
this part of the trip was F R E E Z I N G!
i was wearing a hat, 3 sweaters, my jeans and my converse and i had forgotten my gloves so i was freeezing! but guys, i cant even believe how beautiful it was to see all this.
by this time the snow was coming down and it was coming at me at a nice pace. (see video here

ill just leave you here with a ton of pictures cause there's nothing more that i can say that i already haven't about 100 times.

i checked the weather before we left and we weren't supposed to get snow or rain until Tuesday.
for some reason though, we got snow and rain on Monday and that was the only day that it snowed.
i cant even believe how beautiful it was and I'm so thankful that we were able to walk/ hike all this during the snow!
we went back to Sedona the very next day with Eric & Alyssa and it was ridiculously clear so we could see everything that we couldn't see clearly on Monday.

i am so honestly grateful and thankful that i was able to see all this in the snow. i know i have said it before and you probably want to choke me for saying it again but gah! it was sooo beautiful! i cant even believe i was lucky enough to experience this amazing sight.
i just googled pictures during the summer and man, i feel like i really lucked out.

up next: around sedona

im excited for the following posts cause im finally going to start posting our trip pictures! eeek!

because of work (he has an awesome job with major vacation hookups!) B has a lot of vacation time that hes been wanting to use before the holidays kicked in. so....after careful consideration, B decided, Arizona and Utah!
he has a friend who lives out about 20 minutes away from Sedona so we packed our stuff and left early Sunday morning. (now that i think about it, we should have left Friday night! but nooo, we had the see the Roussey/Holms fight.)

we left around 10 am Sunday and reached Phonix by...i don't even remember. i think maybe 5/6pm. (they're an hour ahead of CA time)
we stopped by a brewery so B could stock up on some chocolate beer that he likes and we were pretty closed to downtown Phoenix so we stopped by.
we walked around and ended up at a street fair concert festival for Veterans. it had been raining so there wasn't a lot of people but B was having a good time.
i had to take several snapchat photos cause i LOVED seeing all the different filters! (even though i ended up using the same one -_-)
it was soo nice to experience some rain! it had been a while.
after a while we left to his friends house in the middle of nowhere!
on the drive there it was raining so hard that i was driving in the slow lane going like 30/40mph while all the Arizona natives were hauling right next to me without fear.

we didn't arrive to his friends house until almost 10pm. because he literally lives in the middle of nowhere, we stayed in for the night and ventured out the next day.

the next day (Monday) Eric took us up to Jerome
its a really small ghost town with lots of views.
as we were leaving Eric's house snow started to come down but once we got to Jerome it was coming down on and off. not heavy at all.
he pulled over at a small parking lot so we could take in the views and just snap pictures. being from California, i have only seen snow once before (in Oregon but i didn't see it snow, it was already on the ground. and then a snowball coming towards my face!) so this was beautiful! B & I were in awe. it was sooo beautiful and we hadn't even seen the best of it yet.
.
we were going to keep going up the road but then it started snowing down even more so we just went to Jerome where all the shops and hotels were at.
its a nice little town and its nice to visit but there is no way in heck that i would EVER stay in any of the haunted hotels.
I'm such a huge chicken sh*t when it comes to that.
after we walked around a bit, we hit up a small little museum and walked around inside.
when we came out the  snow was coming down again and B & I were just in awe.
i know its kind of meh, but in the picture above, you can see the snowflakes and they were just about the most beautiful thing i had ever seen!!!! they are sooo freakin' beautiful. i was sooo happy!!!! so many little snowflakes all over my hair! i cant even begin to explain to you how happy they made me! <3

after Jerome, we headed to Sedona and the Sliding Rocks and woah. if i thought the snow in Jerome was beautiful, i had no idea what we were really in for.

on Tuesday night, we headed to a couple of bars to get some drinks. everything in AZ (where we were staying) is down by like 4 pm so bar hopping on a Tuesday was interesting. ultimately, we ended back up in Jerome (at like 9pm) we hit up a bar in a hotel and i have NEVER been so scared to go to a bathroom by myself.
after that, we ended up at Paul & Jerry's Saloon and we all had a blast!

up next: Midgley Bridge & Sedona's Sliding Rock.

hi guys!
i know its been a while since I've done one of these posts but I'm back!!!!

last month of 2015!!!!
can you believe that?
i honestly feel like we just started the year not that long ago and here we are, the last 30 days.
geesh.
i don't know if this is going to be an emotional post yet I'm just writing as i go so bear with me.

this has been a very inneresting year for me but the thing is, i can only remember the big things. i cant remember the little things which kinda sucks.
i started my second job January 20th and i lost track of time because it was work & school or work & work. ....and i ended up telling my second job to shove it a month ago today actually. i quit on Halloween cause i couldn't deal with high school crap. actually no, not couldn't but chose not too. i avoided high school because of that. so its now been an interesting 1st month with weekends back.
my first weekend back, B & I were just sitting in his front yard while i was reading my nook and i kept thinking, "man, its only Saturday, i feel like i should be going back to work tomorrow" and honestly, I'm still getting used to it.
this past Saturday, it wasn't even 5pm and i was already all bundled up warm in bed. i was thinking back how a few months ago i was thinking on a random Saturday off, how amazing it was to just lay in bed for a bit and how weird it would be to be able to do that EVERY Saturday and BOOM! here i am. (what a random rant about wanting to chill on a Saturday lol!)

anyways,
2015....it was a very interesting year.
i learned some lessons the very hard way.
I've continued going to shows and concerts for 3 years now!
i met my boyfriend and were going to celebrate 6 months this month! :)  and hes the absolute best.
and while i have been happy by myself  (I LOVE DOING EVERYTHING BY MYSELF!)  its been nice to have someone there! and i guess i didn't know or remember how it felt to care so fully for someone because EVERYONE has been telling me that since they've known me, this is the happiest they have ever seen me in a long while and i absolutely love hearing that!!! i love everyone! <3

i finally took a freakin' vacation!!! (posts coming up. get ready for A LOT of pictures!) and it was the best! i was in 3 states in 1 week! me, my car and the boyfriend! :) saw so many new things, new landscapes and i freakin hiked angels landing!!!! google it, ill wait. ......exactly!!!! (okay i did 4.5 of 5 miles cause that vertigo kicked my ass. but. I'm. still. counting. it!)

this month also marks 1 year that i went to Big Sur and if you've been around since then, you know how amazing that trip was to my soul. I'm still thankful to Jonathan for going with me to this day even though we don't really talk anymore. I'll always remember the drive home. thanks J for falling asleep and letting me enjoy my beautiful drive peacefully! <3
that's is seriously the best thing anyone has ever given me.

...i feel as if I've talked your ear off so ill just leave it here and ill probably, maybe come back later with a sappier post.
but know that i have lots of picture posts of my trip coming up!
i cant wait to share!!!

...sorry for all the !!! I'm hopped up on orange juice and well, I'm just extremely happy!

Happy December!!!!
love you all!
released 2011
isbn: 978-0316127257 // 368 pages (238 ebook)
read from: a while back to will never know.

this is the reason why libraries were invented. (not really but god bless America for them!!!! and all other places, countries and what not in the world that have them.)

i have been wanting to read this book for a good long minute and every time i went to Barnes & Noble, I'd eyeball it but then nothing.
theeen i bought the new nook and i had a $5 credit that was about to expire and like a maniac i got this book for only $4.99
what is the proper return etiquette on books?
on e-books?
i never regret spending $5 on books but eeesh.

anyways, i started reading this book and right from the get go i was having trouble getting in to it.
i can honestly say i only know like 4 of the characters and what they're about but from the very first page i had trouble getting in to it.  im about 168 pages in and i STILL have no idea what im reading.
well i do, but nooo.

all she does is complain.
to this day i still have no idea why they broke up.
i mean every chapter is a little piece of reminder on why they broke up. for example, he didn't like the movies that she took him to so that's why they broke up.
a pack of sugar? they didn't have the party they intended too or bake with the sugar they stole and so that's why they broke up.
so, to this day, to that page, I DO NOT KNOW WHY THEY BROKE UP.
i don't know if he cheated or called her another girls name or if anything other than her complaints happened for them to break up.
i have NO IDEA why they broke up.

if you know, let me know.
but if you haven't read this book, don't.
some people find this beautifully written.
it was painful for me to read.
(and i'm sooo sorry because i feel like i sound VERY catty in this post but i'm being honest. this is how i feel.)
like Elise said "life is too short to read a book you don't like." (or something like that. i cant find the direct quote)

thanks for reading.
